Description:

A consecrated thread adorns the Sanniddhi, which needs to be replaced when damaged. The sutra should be removed by untying or burning and shouldn't be cut. It can be disposed of by burying it under wet soil or tying it on a flowering tree. It can also be put in flowing water, such as a river, or a large water body, such as a lake or ocean.
